This policy explains what personal information Pontic, Inc. (“Pontic”, “we”) collects through this website, www.joinpontic.com, and how we use it.
This policy covers the website and our waitlist only. Patient information that Pontic handles for dental practices that use our product is governed by our agreements with those practices, not by this policy.
What we collect
- When you join the waitlist: your name, your clinic’s name and your work email address.
- When you visit the site: like most websites, our hosting provider records technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. We also use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are viewed. It does not use cookies.
- Fonts: the site loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google’s servers, which receive your IP address and browser information.
We don’t use advertising cookies, and we don’t sell personal information.
How we use it
We use your waitlist details only to contact you about early access to Pontic: to follow up on your request and to let you know when we can work with your practice.
We use information about visits to keep the site running and secure, and to understand in aggregate how the site is used.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run the site and the waitlist. They process information on our behalf:
- Vercel, for website hosting and web analytics
- Resend, which delivers waitlist sign-ups to our team’s inbox
- Google, for font delivery
- Our business email provider, where waitlist sign-ups are kept
We may also disclose information when the law requires it. We don’t share your information with anyone else.
Where your information is processed
These service providers are based in the United States and may process information there and in other countries. Information processed outside Canada may be accessible to courts, law enforcement and national security authorities in those countries under their laws.
How long we keep it
We keep your waitlist details until you ask us to remove them, or until we no longer need them to contact you about early access. Technical logs and analytics are kept by our providers for limited periods under their own retention settings.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, and withdraw your consent to being contacted at any time. Email info@joinpontic.com and we’ll respond within 30 days.
How we protect it
The site is served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), access to waitlist sign-ups is limited to our team, and we choose established service providers. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect yours.
Children
This site is for dental professionals and is not directed to children.

Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
